1st Annual Art-O-Rama:
Art Exhibition & Sale
Presented in conjunction with the 5th Annual Artist Home + Studio Tour
Proceeds to Support the Exhibition & Art Education Programming at the Triangle Gallery of Visual Arts
Art–O–Rama Exhibition & Sale has been launched as a way to commemorate the past four years of this fundraiser, as well as to mark and anticipate the exciting line-up of the 5th Annual Artist Home + Studio Tour, to be held on March 31, 2007. On behalf of the Triangle Gallery, I would like to extend sincere gratitude to each of these artists for graciously inviting the public into their most intimate spaces in an incredible gesture to help the Triangle Gallery continue to present high-caliber exhibitions.
The exhibition is our way to give back to these artists and acknowledge their contributions while presenting their captivating works to both, familiar and brand new audiences. The show is representative of the variety of mediums and styles showcased during the annual tours: painting, sculpture, glass, jewelry, pottery, furniture and architecture. Those who have attended past tours will have a chance to get re-acquainted with these works, while those who were unable to attend, will be able to see a summary of what has been included to date. By selecting highly motivated and skilled professional artists, Seka Owen, AHST coordinator since 2005 and CCAS Board Member, has maintained the integrity and long-lasting appeal of this tour. The caliber of these works and the generosity of the artists behind them, have made the experience of selecting the works for this exhibition an absolute pleasure and privilege.
The exhibition and sale presents the artworks by leading Calgary-based artists, designers and architects, whose homes and studios have been featured in the past Artist Home + Studio Tours. This presentation showcases the works by: Ted Godwin, Phyllis Godwin, Jeff de Boer, John Chalke, Barbara Tipton, Bill Morton, Seka Owen, Don Mabie, Wendy Toogood, Helena Hadala, Susan Fraser-Hughes, Bart Habermiller, Barry Fairbairn, Errol Lee Fullen, Doug Haslam, Susan Kristoferson, Stacey Maddock, Angelique Gillespie, Dale Kirschenman, Liz Sullivan, Carl White, Richard Freely, Bonny Houston, Neil Liske, Jean Pederson, Carole Bondaroff, Evelyn Grant, James Holcroyd, Stan Phelps, Colleen Philippi, Judith Zinkan, Jim Etzkorn, Martha Henry, Brian Imeson, Debra Rushfeldt and Wade Stout.
