The Calgary Contemporary Arts Society (CCAS) incorporated in 1982 as a not-for-profit, charitable organization, to develop a visual arts facility for the City of Calgary, dedicated to contemporary art.

• Triangle Gallery celebrates its 17th year of operation in 2005
  
  
• The Triangle Gallery opened on September 15, 1988
  
  
• Public art gallery status granted by the Province of Alberta in 1989
  
  
• Triangle Art Rental Sales and Service operated 1991-1997
  
  
• The Triangle Gallery celebrates its thirteenth year of operation in 2001.
• over 200 exhibitions since 1988.
• over 300,000 visitors since opening the doors in 1998.
